YES.  Every sales campaign needs an advertising and marketing budget. 

 

Are you familiar with the old cliche "You can't sell a secret"?  Almost without exception, real estate agents across Perth will ask the seller to fund an advertising and marketing budget.  The budget could be around $1200 - $2000 for an average home.

Professional Property Photography

Drafting of floor plans

Drone aerial photography or video

Signboard

Internet ads

Printed brochures and campaign materials

Auction expenses if you are going down this track.

 

Most real estate agencies will require payment of the marketing funds at the beginning of the campaign.

Fortunately, House Proud Realty has arrangements in place that give sellers the option to PAY NOW  or PAY LATER for these expenses.  Pay Later means your advertising budget is collected at settlement and a small finance charge is applied by the (third party) lender. Sellers may also access funds this way for certain expenses associated with getting the property onto the market.  Think: painting, maintenance, staged furniture packages, new carpets, etc.
